IPL Hair Reduction
 Intense Pulse Light heats up the hair and destroys the cells responsible for hair growth which achieves long term hair reduction. IPL usually destroys between 10% - 20% of growing hairs with each treatment.
IPL uses a broad spectrum of light, making it suitable for a wide range of hair colours and skin types. IPL treats a large area of skin per light pulse making the treatment a fast and cost effective form of hair removal.

Some Before and After Care
 - Do not wax, pluck or have threading done at
least one month before your appointment and
in between treatments.
- If self tanning products are used, this should be
stopped two weeks before each treatment.
- Keep areas that are being treated out of UV
exposure for four weeks prior to treatment and
use SPF 30+ sunscreen.
- Do not exercise or perform activities that will cause you to perspire within 24-48
hours after treatment.
- Do not shave until 48 hours after treatment.
This treatment does not work on blonde, fair, grey or white hair as there is either very little or no melanin in the hair for the Intense pulse light to be attracted to.

Waxing
 Waxing removes hair from the root, so it takes a longer time for hair to grow again anywhere from 3-8 weeks, depending on the individual speed of hair growth. The hair that grows after
waxing is finer and softer, not rough and hard as after shaving. Waxing leaves the skin soft, smooth because it also removes a layer of dead cells from the surface of the skin which
exfoliates the skin as well. After repeated sessions of waxing, you will notice a much sparser hair growth, and hair growth may even stop eventually.
Before and After Care for Waxing
- Do not expose yourself to direct sunlight 24 hours after waxing.
- Do not have hot showers or baths or use any creams which have a strong scent
as this may irritate the area.
- If you are taking any Vitamin A products like Retin A, Roaccutane, Differin, etc
for acne or any other medical condition, we strongly recommend that you do not wax.
These medications make the skin more prone to tearing when peeling off the wax.
