At Australian Beauty Clinic in Norwest, we use the Skin Clear RF system, previously known as Clinical Skin Clear, for the cosmetic treatment of selected benign skin lesions and minor skin irregularities.
The device combines radio and high-frequency technology delivered through a fine precision probe. Controlled energy is applied directly to the selected lesion, helping to dehydrate and coagulate the targeted tissue without cutting or stitches.
Every treatment is personalised by your practitioner according to the type, size, depth, location and number of lesions being treated. Some concerns may respond following one appointment, while others may require additional treatment or a follow-up session.
Australian Beauty Clinic does not diagnose skin lesions. Before treatment can proceed, a doctor’s clearance certificate must confirm that the lesion or treatment area has been medically assessed, is benign and non-cancerous, and is suitable for cosmetic treatment.

How Does Skin Clear RF Work?
Skin Clear RF delivers controlled radio and high-frequency energy through a fine precision probe. The energy creates a focused thermal effect within the targeted tissue, helping to dehydrate and coagulate the selected lesion.
The treatment settings, probe and technique are adjusted according to the type, size, depth and location of the concern. This allows the practitioner to work precisely and treat the surrounding skin conservatively.
Following treatment, the area may temporarily darken or develop a small crust. This forms part of the normal healing response and should be allowed to shed naturally. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare instructions to support healing and help reduce the risk of irritation, prolonged redness or pigmentation changes.

Before Your Treatment
Before treatment, your practitioner will review your doctor’s clearance certificate, health history, medications and the concerns you would like treated. Each lesion will be visually assessed again to confirm that it appears appropriate for treatment.
Treatment will not proceed if a lesion has changed, appears suspicious or does not match the area medically cleared by your doctor.
During Your Treatment
The treatment area will be prepared before a fine precision probe is used to apply controlled energy directly to the selected lesion. The settings and technique will be adjusted according to the lesion’s type, size, depth and location.
Comfort levels vary. You may experience brief warmth, tingling or a sharp sensation while individual lesions are being treated.
Immediately After Treatment
Temporary redness, warmth, tenderness or mild swelling may occur. The treated lesion may appear darker or form a small crust as the area begins to heal.
These responses can vary depending on the type and number of lesions treated, the treatment area and your individual skin response.
During Healing
Do not pick, scratch or remove any crust that develops. It should be allowed to shed naturally to help protect the healing skin.
Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare instructions, including guidance on cleansing, skincare, sun protection and activities to avoid while the area is healing.
When Results Develop
The treated area will gradually change as it heals. Some lesions may reduce or clear following one treatment, while others may require additional treatment or a follow-up appointment.
Healing time and treatment outcomes vary between clients.
The number of treatments required will depend on the type, size, depth and location of the lesion, as well as your individual skin response.
Some small, superficial lesions may respond following one treatment. Larger, deeper or more complex concerns may require an additional treatment or follow-up appointment.
The treated area must be allowed to heal before further treatment is considered. Your practitioner will assess the area and advise whether another session is appropriate.
Individual treatment responses and results vary, and complete removal cannot be guaranteed.

The certificate must confirm that:
- The lesion or treatment area has been medically assessed
- The lesion is non-cancerous and benign
- The area is suitable for cosmetic treatment
For clients receiving regular lesion removal treatments, an updated medical clearance certificate is required every 12 months.
A new certificate may be requested sooner if a lesion is new, has changed in colour, shape, size or appearance, or is located outside the area previously assessed by your doctor.
Treatment will not proceed if the required medical clearance has not been provided or if your practitioner considers the lesion unsuitable for treatment.
Skin Clear RF treatment generally does not require extended downtime, but the treated area will need time to heal.
Temporary redness, warmth, tenderness or mild swelling may occur after treatment. The lesion may darken or develop a small crust, which should be allowed to shed naturally without picking, scratching or removing it.
The treated area must be kept completely dry for the first 48 hours. Avoid water, cleansers, skincare products and makeup directly over the area during this time. Take care when showering or washing your face to prevent the treatment site from becoming wet.
Depending on the treatment area and your skin’s response, the healing site may remain visible for several days. Excessive heat, sweating, swimming, saunas and direct sun exposure should be avoided while the area is healing. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare instructions based on the area treated and your expected healing response.
Skin Clear RF treatment may be suitable for adults with medically cleared benign skin lesions who understand the expected healing process and can follow the required aftercare.
You may be suitable if:
- Your lesion has been assessed and cleared by a doctor
- The concern is superficial and appropriate for cosmetic treatment
- The skin surrounding the lesion is healthy
- You have realistic expectations about treatment and healing
- You can keep the treated area completely dry for 48 hours

Same day treatment may be possible if the required doctor’s clearance certificate has already been provided, the lesion matches the medically cleared area and your practitioner confirms that treatment is appropriate.
If medical clearance has not been provided or there are concerns about the lesion, treatment will not proceed.
